Star Wars Role Playing Game Saga Edition Release Pushed Back Until May

On a personal level, this is a major drag. I know in the grand scheme of things, two months won’t make a huge difference, but I’ve been itching to play as have my players. I’ve been putting them off because I have a sweet idea for Rebellion Era campaign yet I’m hesitant to put it all down on paper until the new rules come out. I thought that was about four months away but now it’s closer to six. I guess I can be optimistic and think that it just means the new game will be that much better. I’ve also been hesitant about pushing this website forward until the new rules come out so for now I’ll probably just continue to review some of the novels as I read them.
I’m also warming up to the new set of rules because what I’ve heard about it has mostly been good. I went through the same thing when 3E D&D came out. At first I was annoyed because a lot of my past purchases were now worthless. Eventually I got into 3.5 and haven’t looked back. If they ever go to a 4.0, I’ll probably be annoyed again for a while. For now though, I’ll just have to change the mark on my calendar until May of 2007 for this one to come out.
